What is Venturing?
It’s doing your own thing, running your own show and having a ball, while forming great friendships and sharing memorable experiences.
What do Venturers do?
Produce a play, sail the Carribean, climb a mountain, teach disabled people to swim, or
attend the Olympics.
What a Venturing Crew does is limited only by the imagination and involvement of the youth leaders and members of the crew.
If it’s doable, and you want to do it, you can try and make it happen.
Who can join?
Young men and women age 14 (and in high school) through age 20.
Does it take much time?
That depends. The youth members of the Crew decide how often they want to meet, usually
once or twice a month.
They also decide what type of activities they would like to have and how often they will have them.
Who runs the Crew?
The officers of the Crew are youth members elected by all the members of the Crew. Adult Advisors help them by providing guidance and assistance.
